Prince Yarvi who is the main protagonist was born with only one good hand, he is in training to be a Minister, when his father who the King of the country and brother are killed by a close country from Gilgorm. Yarvi becomes the king of his country and soon has to lead his army against one of his enemy countriescities, after winning the battle yarvi is soon betrayed by his uncle.He ends up falling out of a tower into the sea below it , where he is found by the Vansterland army and sold is as slave, and soon soon sold to a ship which happens to be the ship of the famous merchant Shadikshirram. Yarvi using his Ministry training gets one of the people on the ship but opening one of his wounds, and then makes a plan with a slave named samuel to escape. During the first encounter with the enemy ship they are attack and there ships end up getting banged up and sinks. The only survivors are the Captain Yarvi, Samuel, Ankrah, Yarvis parmates and a slave called Nothing who is really goddamn good with a sword. They set off for Gettland, while scavenging for supplies and evading Shadaksharam. They soon have to ambush her and the men with her. Ankran takes a blow for yarvi and dies. Through the fight they win and yarvi is able to kill Shadaksharam Yarvi and his friends are taken by Grom who makes a deal with yarvis uncle whos the king of country now. They are soon taken to Geatland where yarvi finds his mother who is the Golden Queen who has a network of trades and trading. Yarvi and his companions soon think of a plan, the Vansterdam army forces out Gotland forces out of the city, and so Yarvi and his companions and his mother’s people trap his uncle King Odom in his citadel. Odom’s few guards are caught and defeated but one of yarvis companions are killed in the fighting. The man called nothing shows the he is Prince Uthil, who was assumed dead by drowning in the sea years ago. Prince uthil kills Odom in fight and Yarvi turns down his birthright so he could avoid getting killed as a person to be challenged for the throne and so uthil becomes king. Jarvis companions soon go there on ways. Yarvi is able to track down and free akram’s family. Prince Yarvi becomes Brother Yarvi. Yarvi confronts Gundaring and tells her that he knows that she betrayed their country, his father and brother to the high king and so he poisons her which she’s dies from.Brother yarvi at the end becomes father yarvi. The major characters of the book are yarvi, ankaran and prince uthil. The main protagonist is yarvi.
